The Tuscan Countryside
Sophia Romano & Lucas Conti
June 14 & 15, 2026 · Florence, Italy
“In the heart of Italy, where love grows eternal.”
Why we chose
this place.
Tuscany unfolds like a Renaissance painting across rolling hills that have inspired artists for centuries. It is not a place that reveals itself quickly. You arrive through winding cypress-lined roads, and then the valley opens — and you understand immediately why Michelangelo found his muse here, why Leonardo studied light here, why generations have called this paradise home.
We discovered it on a June evening three years ago. We had planned to stay two nights. We stayed a week. The quality of light here transforms time itself — it stretches afternoons into golden hours that feel eternal, moments that have no obligation to end.
There is a villa at the heart of the valley where vineyards meet olive groves, called Villa di Borgo. You stand on the stone terrace and the entire Tuscan landscape spreads before you like a living tapestry. We got engaged there. We are getting married there. We wanted the people we love most to stand in that same golden light.
“The Tuscan hills roll toward a horizon that never ends. On a clear June morning, the earth and sky paint each other in shades of gold.”
— Sophia, on first discovering Tuscany
The Light
June light in Tuscany doesn't just illuminate — it paints. It filters through cypress trees and turns the rolling hills into liquid gold, warming ancient stone walls with honeyed radiance.
The Scent
Vineyards stretch across the valley like patchwork quilts. The air carries notes of olive groves, rosemary from the gardens, and the earthy richness of Chianti wine aging in cellars beneath.
The Sound
Church bells from Florence's Duomo echo across the Arno valley at sunset. Below, the gentle hum of Vespas fills cobblestone streets. The countryside is peaceful in the way only timeless landscapes can be.
The Feel
The Mediterranean breeze is warm through summer evenings, carrying the scent of sun-baked earth. The stone terraces are cool beneath your feet even in the afternoon heat.
Getting to
the Tuscan countryside.
This is not a complicated journey — but it is a remarkable one. Here is everything you need, delivered with the warmth it deserves.
